Just over a year ago 'Erik Beck' and 'Justin Johnson' who both used to be presenters for the popular filmmaking channel, 'IndyMogul', created their own channel called 'TheIndieMachines' on YouTube. They started the channel with the idea of making short films from their audiences '5 word film concepts'. They have recently completed and uploaded the first '5 word film concept' and was created with the concept of 'Cardboard Robots Battle In Space'.
The short film has great humour, with the two main characters played by Justin and Erik who cannot decide which Star War's movie is the best. Suggested by the films title, they then produce large cardboard robots which then 'battle in space'.
There is a lot of video effects within this film, and some really good chroma keying for the shots inside the robot heads. The visual effects were done by 'Garret' from the YouTube channel 'fallg51'.
